Agency Rates Temporary Nannies The rate for a temporary nanny (sitter) starts at $8.00 per hour for one or two children, $9.00 for 3 or 4, a minimum of 2 hours is required. The family pays the nanny directly and the Agency bills a referral fee, 18% of the nanny's base salary. For example, if a nanny works 3 hours, she is paid $24.00 and the Agency bill, sent in the mail, will be $4.32. There are discounts for frequent referrals, please call us for details. Permanent Nannies Full or Part time nannies are paid $8.00 per hour and up. This amount will depend on several factors, such as the number of hours, children, and the nanny's experience. The Agency charges a one-time placement fee for the nanny, which is due after a match has been made. This fee varies greatly as it is also based on a percentage of the base salary combined with the average number of hours in a three month period.
